The Household Solar Funders Group

Started in 2020, the Household Solar Funders Group (HSFG) brings together 65 funders of household solar in Africa. The primary aim of the HSFG is to accelerate access to energy (SDG7), through funder collaboration on activities which address market barriers and benefit from a collective approach.
The HSFG was initiated by the Shell Foundation and USAID and is currently hosted by AECF.

This website offers an overview of events and news about household solar in Africa, while HSFG members can access meeting minutes, presentations and additional documents in the member area.
