Solar Week Kenya 2025 – Nairobi

April 10

The 4th Edition of the Kenya Solar Week is set to be the most impactful yet, bringing together industry pioneers, innovators, and policymakers to spotlight the latest advancements and opportunities in Kenya’s rapidly growing solar and renewable energy sector. With 76% of Kenya's installed capacity now derived from renewables, and solar playing a key role, this year's focus is on driving solar adoption to achieve Kenya’s ambitious goals: 100 GW of renewable capacity by 2040 and universal clean energy access.

The event will feature insightful sessions on Financing and Investment Mechanisms, Policy, Regulation, and Incentives, Technological Innovation and Integration, Grid Integration and Energy Storage, and Sustainability, Climate Goals, and Energy Transition. These sessions will be complemented by interactive workshops examining new regulatory frameworks, business innovations, and evolving market trends. Experts will share their perspectives on how to harness Kenya’s renewable energy potential while overcoming challenges to scaling solar adoption.

Over 200+ industry leaders—including project developers, EPCs, financiers, policymakers, manufacturers, and service providers—will gather to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and unlock opportunities. With a strong emphasis on networking, the event promises meaningful connections that can lead to transformative collaborations and deals.

Kenya Solar Week 2025 is your gateway to understanding how the country’s solar industry can overcome challenges like access to finance, policy hurdles, and infrastructure gaps, while advancing toward a brighter, sustainable future.
